Verses to consider 1 John 2:7-11

Throughout the New Testament, the message of loving one another is echoed. It is a message that was given from the beginning. As Christians, we are called to be the ambassadors - living lives that reflect the goodness and love of God. We are God's representatives here on earth; so how are others seeing us?

Consider - Are we speaking to everyone with words of love?

       Are your actions -  at home, at work, to our neighbors, to our Christian brothers and sisters - actions that nurture, show gentleness and most of all love?

Roman 12:9 (NLT)

Don't just pretend to love others, really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honouring each other.
